The Wilde team was such a pleasure to work with! As a first-time home buyer, it was important that I feel comfortable with the process and learn as much as possible. In a previous experience, I was discouraged by constantly losing out to cash offers, offers way over asking price, FHA not being accepted, or hefty down payments. My realtor showed me a condo (which would end up being my first home!) that had a “1% Down/No PMI” sign on the table. This was extremely interesting to me because a lot of properties I was interested in had HOAs. Adding the PMI and mortgage payment would be uncomfortable for me, and it’s a conventional loan! My realtor inquired about the program and found that I met the criteria! I started working with Jeff, who was soooo patient with me. He answered every call and email, and always took the opportunity to educate me on the home-buying process and Bell Bank’s amazing down payment program. Without this program, I would probably still be searching for my home. I encourage all first-time home buyers to look into this program. I didn’t have to exhaust all of my savings, and I’m able to pay my mortgage comfortably! Even if I hadn’t purchased my home, I’m so thankful we went to the showing or I would have never known about the program! That sign on the table was literally my sign encouraging me to follow through. Unbeknownst to Jeff, I am only the second home owner in my family – the first was my great grandmother, who purchased her home over 60 years ago.
